Elk Grove Select — Founding Edition — participation and payment terms
A minimum of 14 paid advertisers (verified $250 deposit or $500 full payment) is required to proceed. Maximum capacity is 16 advertising spaces at $500 per space for one mailing. Campaign confirmation deadline: December 14, 2026. Confirmation does not require filling all 16 spaces. If the mailing cannot proceed by that deadline, all payments will be refunded unless the advertiser explicitly agrees in writing to transfer them to a future mailing with a disclosed target window. Payments will not automatically roll forward.
If Elk Grove Select cancels the campaign or postpones postal submission beyond January 15, 2027, advertisers will be offered a full refund or an optional transfer to a rescheduled mailing. No payment will be transferred without written agreement. Refunds will be initiated to the original payment method within five business days of cancellation or notification of postponement unless the advertiser has authorized a transfer. Bank processing may take additional time. Advertiser-requested cancellations are subject to separate terms provided before payment.

Any $250 balance is due within five business days after campaign confirmation and must be received before printing. Full payment and final artwork approval are required before print release. Ad design begins as advertisers are approved; artwork approval is due December 18, 2026.

Is artwork included?
Yes! Professional ad design is included, or you’re welcome to submit your own artwork. Use your advertiser portal to upload artwork, review your ad, and approve the final proof before printing. No discount or coupon is required—your ad can highlight your services, showcase your brand, or feature an offer of your choice.
How does category exclusivity work?
One business per category is permitted in each mailing. Pending and sold categories are protected. Businesses with overlapping services, such as plumbing and HVAC, require Tara’s review. If your category is represented, join its waiting list; future placement is not guaranteed.
Can a bakery and a restaurant both advertise?
The current Restaurants & Food category is shared by food businesses, including bakeries and restaurants. Separate participation requires Tara’s review and an explicitly approved category distinction. Both businesses are not guaranteed a placement; please describe your full service mix for review.
When will the postcard be mailed?
January 11–15, 2027, for postal submission, subject to printer confirmation. Household delivery follows; specific arrival dates are not guaranteed. Reservation requests are due December 8, 2026; approved advertisers must pay their selected deposit or full payment by December 11, 2026. Artwork approval is due December 18, 2026.
When do I pay?
No payment is collected when you submit your inquiry. Tara reviews your request and, if approved, sends payment instructions through a Square invoice. Choose a $250 deposit toward the $500 total or pay $500 in full. Your approved category and chosen space are secured after the selected payment is verified. Any $250 balance is due within five business days after campaign confirmation and before printing.
What if the mailing does not reach the required participation?
